You will be paid 4.5 CH if you did not use an LCT within the prior 90 days. If you accomplished an LCT within the prior 90 days, then pay will be at the discretion of your Fleet Captain.

The new parenthetical is not a substantive change. Directing the pilot to refer to the definition of “Legal Rest Period” in Section 2.77 (Definitions) as to when it begins (when released from duty).

For Critical Pay Events, did we agree to other “intermediate stop” locations that do not pay the 1.5 CH? (4.GG.)

Yes, we agreed to add GSO and LGG to the locations listed in 4.GG.2., since they are both sort facilities. GSO was previously agreed upon. LGG is new.

Why was the new language added in Critical Period Pay Events (4.GG.) and Intermediate Stop Pay (4.HH.) regarding “duty periods scheduled to domestic parameters”?

A
This was not a substantive change, only a further elaboration that these two events are connected to the Critical Period. Only duty periods scheduled to domestic parameters have a Critical Period (not those scheduled to international parameters).

Can you explain how each of the MPDPs (4.F.2.b.) and Duty Rigs (4.F.2.d.) change in the TA?

A
MPDP-1 Increased from 3 CH to 3:12 CH (4.F.2.b.i.). Duty periods during a trip, when such trip contains at least one layover.

MPDP-2 Increased from 6 CH to 6:24 CH (4.F.2.b.ii.). A duty period comprised exclusively of a trip which departs and returns to base in the same duty period (out and back).

MPDP-E Increased from 6 CH to 6:24 CH (4.F.2.b.iii.). A duty period which operates into and out of a designated MPDP-E sort facility.

MPDP-F Increased from 9 CH to 9:36 CH (4.F.2.b.iv.). The final duty period of a trip, which is comprised of revenue flying then deadhead to base.

Domestic Night Rig Increased from 1:1.92 to 1:1.5 (4.F.2.d.ii.)

International Rig Increased from 1:1.92 to 1:1.73 (4.F.2.d.iv.)
